HOYLE STATEMENT ON CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT IN GAZA

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Val Hoyle released the following statement about the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
"I am encouraged by news that for the second time since Hamas's horrific attacks on October 7th, both sides have finally reached a hostage-release and ceasefire agreement in Gaza," Rep. Hoyle said. "We need a Marshall Plan for Gaza to rebuild. This is the only way to bring prosperity, self determination, and security to both Israelis and Palestinians. I am hopeful both sides and the incoming administration will adhere to all parts of the agreement.”
The ceasefire agreement brokered was brokered by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar and is set to take effect on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
