HOYLE STATEMENT ON THE DOBBS DECISION ANNIVERSARY

WASHINGTON, DC— Today, U.S. Representative Val Hoyle (OR-04), a proud member of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus, released the following statement on the second anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade:

“This anniversary serves as a reminder that the fight for reproductive equality is far from over. Anti-choice extremists are still working to take away reproductive freedoms, and we cannot stand by as these attacks continue. We must pass the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) to establish abortion care as a guaranteed right for every woman in America.  

“Women’s health care decisions should be left to her and her doctor – not politicians or judges.”
