Rep. Hoyle: PACT Act Deadline for Veterans is August 9th
EUGENE, OR – Today, U.S. Representative Val Hoyle (OR-04) is reminding all veterans and surviving family members that they have until Wednesday, August 9th to apply for backdated benefits through the PACT Act. The PACT Act expands health care and benefits for veterans who were exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances during their military service.
“Oregon’s Fourth Congressional District is home to the largest number of veterans than any other congressional district in the state, and it’s my responsibility to ensure each veteran has the resources to get the benefits and care they’ve earned. I want to honor and thank every veteran who has served our country,” said Rep. Hoyle.
How To File for PACT Act Benefits

- Visit: VA.gov/PACT
- There’s no deadline for PACT Act claims, but if you file by Wednesday, August 9, you can get benefits backdated to 2022.
