Hoyle Announces 4th CD Winner of 2024 Congressional Art Competition
Junior from Springfield Academy of Arts & Academics Selected
Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Val Hoyle announced that Lillian Langford, a Junior from the Springfield Academy of Arts and Academics (A3) is the winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition for Oregon’s 4th Congressional District. Her piece entitled “La Marchesa Casati” will hang in the U.S. Capitol for a year alongside winners from across the country.
“I'm impressed by the artistic talent of the students across our community who submitted art for this competition,” said Rep. Hoyle. “I especially want to congratulate our winner, Lillian Langford, whose excellent use of pen and ink to convey deep emotions is truly remarkable. I look forward to seeing her artwork on my way to votes in DC and, I can’t wait to see where Lillian’s passion for art will take her in the future.”
